The Multiplication Rate With Two or More Parts
We can use the nature
of distributive for the multiplication rate with two or more parts.
Distributive Properties :
a x ( b + c ) = ( a x b ) + ( a x c ) or ( a + b ) x c = ( a x c ) + ( b + c )
Distributive Properties in the algebra :
aX x ( 1X + 1y ) = (aX x 1X ) + ( aX x 1y)
= 1aX2 + 1aXy
Example :
a. 1a ( 3a + 4b) = ( 1a x 3a ) + ( 1a x 4b )
= ( 1 x a x 3 x a ) + ( 1 x a x 4 x b )
= ( 1 x 3 x a x a ) + ( 1 x 4 x a x b )
= ( 3 x a2 ) + ( 4 x ab)
= 3a2 + 4ab
