Circumference of Circle - 

( using the diameter )  The formula = πd

( using the radius )     The formula = 2πr

Information : π (pi) = 22/7 or 3,14
                    diameter = 2radius  



Exercise : 

how the circumference of a circle?

The answe : 

( use the radius ) because radius = 1/2 diameter so the radius is 8 : 2 = 4 cm

2πr = 2 x 3.14 x 4
      = 25.12 cm

( use the diameter ) from the picture the diameter is 8 cm

πd = 3.14 x 8
     = 25.12

From the example use the diameter or radius the answer is same. So you can each one from two formula.
